In order to purchase contact lenses in Ireland, you require a valid prescription that includes the brand and type of contact lens along with its sizing and power. You must also have a contact lens aftercare exam at least every 12 months. This is where we check that the cornea or front surface of your eye is healthy. In addition to this, you need to have a separate regular eye exam at least every 24 months. This is a legal requirement that we must comply with. Our Optometrists are happy to carry out these exams as needed.
